On the day before Mother’s Day, Caregivers’ Action Centre wants to show the love to all of the caregivers who work so hard to take care of other people’s children, the sick, and the elderly. This day is for you!
12:00 - 12:30 Welcome and lunch
12:30 - 1:30 What is community organizing and how can it help me? A Workshop led by CAC
1:30 - 3:00 Healthy Relationships: An interactive workshop with community educator Jessica Lee on healthy boundaries in intimate, work, and friend relationships
3:00 - 3:30 Break: snacks and mingling
3:30 - 5:30 Making art to heal ourselves: an art-making session with Toronto-based Art Therapist Sarah Teitel. No specific artistic “skill” or experience necessary!
